SEC (Société Européenne de Construction) is a family-run company founded in 1946 in Seine-et-Marne, specialized in the manufacture of threaded rods. For 70 years, it has established itself as a reliable company in the fastening industry.
70 Years of Development and Innovation at the Heart of the Company
Twenty years later, in 1966, SEC continued its development in the Vosges, improving its production facilities to meet the steadily growing requirements of its French and European customers.
Since 1987, based at the “La Longine” site in Haute-Saône. Its larger, in large and perfectly stited promise with extensive range of machinery across more than 8,000 m², SEC has a production capacity of 1,200 tonnes per month, meeting its custumer individual requirement for Threaded rods with versatility, flexibility and high-quality precision.

SEC is continuing its CSR programme by installing photovoltaic panels at its production site, reducing its carbon footprint while strengthening its energy independence. This practical initiative reflects its long-term commitment to the environment and its partners.
A Production Capacity of 1,200 Tonnes per Month
SEC’s production machinery, manufacturing processes and expertise enable it to offer a wide range of standard and custom products:
threaded ends and stud bolts cut to the required length, fully or partially threaded, with or without a chamfer; special threads (fine, round, trapezoidal or left-hand); sizes from M03 to M60; and a choice of materials (steel grades 4.8, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9, A2 & A4 stainless steel and brass). Standard finishes include plain and zinc-plated, with special surface treatments also available, including HTC high-corrosion-resistance zinc plating, black zinc plating, oversized hot-dip galvanising and lamellar zinc coating.
